Day 131 of the Military Coup

Summary of Events

There are no major headlines to report for today.

But I would like to remind everyone that under the #SudanCoup system, citizens are (still) unlawfully detained, intimidated and tortured, all in an effort to suppress this nonviolent resistance movement. Currently, 3 young men are (confirmed) living this, one of whom is only 17 years old.

Mohamed Adam (Tupac), Ahmed Elfatih (Alnanna) and Mohamed Elfatih (Tirhaqa) have all been in prison since January 15. Tupac has an injured leg, as he was shot by #SudanCoup forces during demonstrations in Central Khartoum on January 13.

They've been held without visit, without legal recourse, and without medical care (Tupac - besides being seriously injured - is hypertensive, and has been denied his medication). They've also been brutally assaulted and tortured while in prison: electrocuted, with slabs of ice, nails and power drills, and beaten with (electricity) conduits.
